The UK standard plug is also called a BS (british standard) plug, which refers to a power plug that uses the British standard as a reference standard. In addition to the United Kingdom, countries and regions such as Nigeria, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Maldives, and Hong Kong all use British standard plugs.
The CE mark cannot be used to measure whether a British plug is qualified. The CE mark on a British plug has no meaning. This plug certification has the words ASTA on it.
